T
he City of Elysia is a vast metropolis at the convergence of the Novisam and Marage rivers, serving as the Capital of the Empire of the Elysian Fields. A statement of wealth and power, the main road of the city is made from a durable marble that glows when it is touched by the sun. The architecture is often rounded and carved from stone and other hard materials, but more modern buildings of wood have become increasingly common. The Royal Palace can be seen for many miles, and its dual towers serve as gigantic incense burners to paint the city with a pleasant fragrance during festivals or visits by foreign dignitaries of acceptable stature.
